Draw product and cleaning separately
Identify the fruit reception area, seed and reject collection, pulp handling and downstream filling. Put cleaning return and drainage on their own circuit drawing so production flow cannot be mistaken for a CIP sequence.
Keep inspection and maintenance reachable
Allow access to separation screens, seals, drives, guards and pipe connections. Record which components require removal for cleaning, the lifting or withdrawal envelope and how cleaned parts are handled.
Specify utilities from equipment duties
Obtain flow, pressure, temperature and quality requirements for each service from the selected configuration. Peak demand, simultaneous operations and the cleaning window affect utility sizing. Do not estimate consumption from a generic line capacity.
Define the handovers
List electrical and control interfaces, foundations, piping, local installation and commissioning responsibilities. A scope drawing should mark the receiving and discharge points for product, seeds, waste and utilities.
