Buyer questions

Açaí processing questions, answered.

Practical decisions that connect material, equipment and product.

Do fresh berries and frozen pulp need the same equipment?

No. Whole berries need a seed-separation route. Purchased pulp starts after extraction, with receiving and finishing based on its existing specification and treatment.

Is freezing followed by aseptic filling?

These are separate downstream routes. Choose the product and distribution requirements, then design the preservation and packaging interfaces together.

Can a pulper rating tell me the final packed output?

No. State whole-fruit input, accepted pulp and final packed mass separately. Water addition, separation and the operating window must be recorded before comparing output.

Does this site specify a universal treatment temperature?

No. Product safety and preservation depend on the product, validated process and packaging system. The thermal-treatment page identifies the information needed for project design.

Can I start from bought-in pulp?

Yes. The pulp-finishing route starts at purchased-pulp receiving and excludes whole-fruit washing and seed separation. Confirm the supply format and prior treatment.

What happens to seeds and coarse material?

The extraction flow shows separate pulp and seed outlets. Collection, inspection, handling and disposal or other agreed use of rejects belong in the project scope.

Are the equipment drawings model drawings?

No. The drawings explain functional interfaces. The proposal must identify the actual model and supporting documentation.

What should I send if capacity is undecided?

Give your intended product, incoming material, an estimated range if available, and its units and basis. Sample information and planned operating hours help refine the duty.
