Use three separate production numbers
State incoming whole fruit, accepted pulp and final packed product separately. For a pulp-finishing project, the incoming quantity is purchased pulp. Identify whether each number is kg/h, kg per batch or a daily amount tied to operating hours.
Include the production window
A continuous machine rating does not tell you the daily packed output. Consider receiving hours, batch changes, preparation, cleaning, storage and the selected filling operation. Ask how the proposed stages are balanced over the intended schedule.
Compare like-for-like boundaries
List included equipment, controls, utilities connections, installation work and downstream packaging. Identify supplied modules and third-party interfaces. Keep freezer and cold-storage scope explicit in frozen-pulp projects.
Make unknowns usable
Send a preliminary range with its basis when the final quantity is undecided. Mark measurements still to be obtained and request the information needed to narrow equipment selection. A fixed plant price without a defined scope is not a reliable comparison.
