The first stage recovers pulp

A pulping stage separates edible material from seeds and coarse rejects. Feed preparation, working arrangement and seed discharge must suit the whole-fruit duty.

A second stage controls the finish

A second pulping or refining stage can provide a separate screening duty. It is useful when the product specification requires additional coarse-material removal, but the effect on texture and accepted product mass must be checked.

One rating does not settle the comparison

Compare feed basis, screen arrangement, actual product, rejected streams and cleaning access. A two-stage catalog capacity is not a guaranteed açaí output and should not be compared directly with accepted-pulp throughput.

Evaluate the actual berry and pulp

Record seed integrity, residual pulp, water addition, screen loading and the final product texture during trials. These observations establish whether one or two stages meet the intended specification.

Discuss the required result

Tell us the inlet and the desired pulp finish. Ask for a proposal that identifies the job of each stage rather than selecting a machine by the number of cylinders alone.
