Whole berries need a front end
Reception, inspection, washing and feed preparation precede seed separation. The pulper is assessed with the actual berries, including feed condition, residual pulp on seeds and water addition.
Prepared pulp enters after extraction
A pulp-only inlet starts with the supplier’s pack, specification and treatment history. Receiving, preparation, screening and blending may be required, but a fruit washer and seed separator do not belong automatically in this route.
Compare output on the right basis
Whole-fruit input includes seeds and rejects; purchased-pulp input does not have the same balance. Compare the finished-product duty and required specification rather than equating two feed-capacity numbers.
What each proposal should identify
For whole fruit, ask for front-end operations and measured separation acceptance. For prepared pulp, ask for receiving method, product-contact handling and any changes to the supplied treatment or package boundary.
Make your inlet explicit
Include fresh fruit, frozen whole fruit or purchased pulp in the enquiry, with incoming containers and expected condition. That one decision removes unnecessary equipment from the scope.

Start with the available information. Material condition, output basis and packaging make the equipment discussion specific to your project.
